The short version
Ignarion does not collect any data. There is nothing to send, because the app never connects to a network in the first place. Everything you do in the game — your embers, your unlocked nodes, your progress through the galleries — stays on your device and nowhere else.
What Ignarion stores
The app saves your progress locally on your iPhone, using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults). This includes things like:
- Your ember balance and which tree nodes you've attuned
- Which chapters and codex entries you've uncovered
- Your best depth reached and completed descents
- Sound and haptics preferences
None of this ever leaves your device. It is not readable by us, by Apple, or by anyone else. There is no account to create and no profile tied to you personally.
What Ignarion does not do
- No internet connection is used by the app, ever
- No personal information is requested or collected
- No accounts, sign-in, or profiles
- No advertising and no in-app purchases
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other device permission
- Nothing is shared with, or sent to, any other party
Erasing your progress
Inside the app, the Rites screen has an "Erase the ember" option. Typing the confirmation word wipes your saved progress from the device immediately and permanently. Since nothing was ever stored anywhere else, this is the entire deletion — there is no remote copy to remove.
